Dallas International Film Festival

I worked today as an interviewer and hostess at the Dallas International Film Festival for Promot TV.  We had a great spot on the red carpet and I had a chance to interview Dallas Mayor Tom Leppert, actor Bill Paxton, long time film critic for WFAA Gary Cogill, and many other festival attendees.

If you look really close over Gary’s shoulder in the first few seconds of the clip you can see me! http://www.wfaa.com/news/local/Opening-night-for-Dallas-International-Film-Festival-90282442.html

While not my first job as an interviewer or host, it was definitely the most media oriented work I’ve done.  I always love learning something new!

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend or planning to catch a flick, I definitely recommend the festival.  There is great energy about the place, people are really there celebrating the art!  With several restaurants and bars nearby and lots of open social areas, the Angelika is the perfect venue for this event.  You’re likely to bump into the actors, directors, and producers of these films, most of whom are happy to have a drink with you and chat about their film or anything else for that matter!
